Griffin Jewellery Designs' Standard Warranty:
Diamond Rings:
Guaranteed for life by GRIFFIN JEWELLERY DESIGNS against defects in workmanship. Should a diamond fall out of its original mounting due to defects in workmanship; the stone will be replaced free of charge, providing that your inspection and maintenance requirements are satisfied. Common wear and tear that occurs naturally over time is not considered a defect in workmanship.
Diamond Jewellery:
Diamond Jewellery consisting of diamond bracelets, pendants, and earrings are guaranteed for a period of 5 years, against defects in workmanship. The loss of a stone from its original mounting will be replaced free of charge providing that your inspection and maintenance requirements are satisfied. Common wear and tear that occurs naturally over time is not considered a defect in workmanship.
Gemstone and Gold Jewellery:
Colored gemstones and gold jewellery are guaranteed for a period of 2 years against defects in workmanship. The loss of stones from its original mounting will be replaced free of charge providing that your inspection and maintenance requirements are satisfied. Common wear and tear that occurs naturally over time is not considered a defect in workmanship.
Inspection and Maintenance:
In order for GRIFFIN JEWELLERY DESIGNS to provide you with this unprecedented lifetime Diamond Ring Guarantee, 5 Year Diamond Jewellery Guarantee and 2 year Gemstone and Gold Jewellery Guarantee, proper maintenance inspections must be done every 6 months. Just bring in your purchase every 6 months to any GRIFFIN JEWELLERY DESIGNS location in Ontario with your receipt and guarantee form and the inspection will be performed free of charge. If for any reason you are unable to maintain these inspections, your GRIFFIN JEWELLERY DESIGNS guarantee will apply for 1 year from last inspection. If for any reason repair is required on your Jewellery which is indicated during inspections and is not performed at inspection date this guarantee is VOID. PLEASE NOTE: If jewellery purchased at GRIFFIN JEWELLERY DESIGNS is repaired or altered by another institution your guarantee is automatically VOID.
Free Cleaning:
We gladly offer to have your jewellery cleaned free of charge at anytime. Bring in your jewellery that has been purchased from GRIFFIN JEWELLERY DESIGNS or elsewhere and we will professionally clean the items in store at no charge to you.
Appraisal Service:
At Griffin Jewellery Designs we are proud to offer full appraisal services by a qualified gemologist to assist you in determining the insurable value of your purchase against loss or theft. it is recommended that you insure your jewellery against these circumstance.

Prices do not include applicable taxes. Extended Protection Plans are not available for watch purchases, beads and charms, opal jewellery, turquoise jewellery, vitalium rings or any jewellery containing leather, rubber or stainless steel. Important Notes:
This Extended Protection Plan is not a document of insurance; it is a legal contract. The company obligated under this plan is Griffin Jewellery Designs. For this Extended Protection Plan to be valid, this document, the original purchase receipt and semi-annual inspections must be recorded and held in good standing. Only one *item is covered under this Extended Protection Plan. The Extended Protection Plan will only be honoured if the ownership is recorded and signed by an authorized Griffin representative. The Extended Protection Plan is non-transferable from the *owner.
For Service Claims:
To obtain service under this EPP, the *owner must bring the item in question, this document and the original purchase receipt to any Griffin Jewellery Designs Location. Visit https://griffinjewellery.com/pages/locations for a complete list of locations. Do not mail or courier service items.
Coverage:
This Extended Protection Plan covers materials and labour for the following services and repairs needed either as a result of manufacturer’s defect. Lost or chipped diamonds or gemstones from the initial date of purchase and every six months thereafter. All semi-annual inspections must be recorded on the original Extended Protection Plan to maintain validity. Inspections cover potential repairs such as re-tipping of prongs, claw work and stone tightening.
If the item is a ring, Griffin Jewellery Designs will re-size up to two sizes (up or down) once every 12 months as necessary.
Rhodium plating of white gold may be done by Griffin once every 12 months as necessary.
Diamond or gemstones which require re-setting as a result of defective workmanship will be adjusted by Griffin Jewellery Designs.
The item may be refinished and polished an unlimited number of times.
Replacement backs for earrings will be provided as required maximum of 4 times over the life of the item.
At the sole discretion of Griffin Jewellery Designs the *item will be replaced with an *item of equal or greater value if the estimated cost of repair exceeds the replacement value of the *item or if the repair will take longer than 30 days. If the *item is stolen during the period of coverage and a replacement *item of the same value is purchased through Griffin Jewellery Designs, the remaining term of the Extended Protection Plan will be transferred to the new *item.
Not Covered:
The Extended Protection Plan does not cover damage caused by acts of God, excessive abuse or neglect, improper treatment or damages caused by accidents (car, vandalism, fire etc.). Loss of diamonds, gemstones or any other parts of the *item unless caused by defective craftsmanship or workmanship. This Extended Protection Plan is void if any work is done on the *item by anyone other than Griffin Jewellery Designs.
Limit of Liability:
The cumulative liability to Griffin Jewellery Designs under the Extended Protection Place shall be equal to the purchase price of the *item. At any time if the total equivalent retail value of all authorized repairs and services is equal to, or surpasses the original purchase price of the item of equal or greater value, this Extended Protection Plan will no further force or effect.
Terms of Coverage:
All terms and coverage defined herein begin on the date of purchase of the Extended Protection Plan as shown on the sales receipt and continue for the *owner’s lifetime or the product’s lifetime, whichever is shorter.
Cancellation:
This Extended Protection Plan may only be canceled by the original purchaser. Cancellation may occur any time within the first 30 days of purchase as long as no services have been provided under the Extended Protection Plan.
Definitions:
The *owner is defined as the original purchaser of the *item unless otherwise stated under the ownership information, in which case such person is deemed to be the *owner.
If the item is transferred, sold or given as a gift beyond the person named on the ownership information, the Extended Protection Plan shall be of no further force or effect.
Product lifetime shall be deemed to end if and when the *item is altered by anyone other than Griffin Jewellery Designs in any way, or altered by Griffin Jewellery Designs to such an extend that the *item has become a new piece of jewellery. These decision will be determined at the sole discretion of Griffin Jewellery Designs.
